nervous system was recorded between may of 2021 and october of 2022, in a dorm room as well as my childhoood bedroom and current apartment. the album addresses my identity and artistic struggles, etc.​

nervous system was recorded using the Pyle PDKM7 set of drum set microphones on my Pearl Rhythm Traveler kit, with a 1979 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum, Zildjan A-Custom Mastersound 14" hi-hats, Wuhan crash and splash cymbals, and an unmarked Pearl ride cymbal that came with the kit.

nervous system was recorded with a very old Shure SM-58/57 as well as a Mackie EM-91c capturing my voice.

 

nervous system was recorded with a Mexican Fender Stratocaster and a Squier Jaguar bass run through stock Logic Pro amplifier modelers, but primarily Native Instrument's Guitar Rig 6. Steel-string acoustic guitars are a Taylor GS Mini or an old Ibanez acoustic model, and nylon-string acoustic guitars are a Martin travel guitar restrung with nylon ball-end strings. Acoustic guitars were primarily recorded with a Shure SM-57.

nervous system was recorded with an Arturia Keylab Mk II through stock logic keyboards and Keyscape plugins by Spectrasonics.

 

nervous system was recorded into a TASCAM 4x4 and a TASCAM 16x08 onto a 2018 MacBook Pro running Logic Pro, mixed and mastered with stock Logic plugins.

nervous system was recorded on a $0 budget with help from my friends, parents, accumulated gear, spare parts, google, and elbow grease.
