Lighthouse was recorded entirely within two rooms in my childhood home in Charlotte, North Carolina between November of 2020 and May of 2021, documenting not only my personal struggles but also the progression of my relationship with the wonderful art of home recording and production.

Lighthouse was recorded using the Pyle PDKM7 set of drum set microphones on my Pearl Rhythm Traveler kit, with a 1979 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum, Zildjan A-Custom Mastersound 14" hi-hats, Wuhan crash and splash cymbals, and an unmarked Pearl ride cymbal that came with the kit.

Lighthouse was recorded with a very old Shure SM-58 as well as a Mackie EM-91c capturing my voice.
Lighthouse was recorded with a Mexican Fender Stratocaster and a Squier Jaguar bass run through stock Logic Pro amplifier modelers as well as Native Instrument's Guitar Rig 6. Steel-string acoustic guitars are a Taylor GS Mini, and nylon-string acoustic guitars are a Martin travel guitar restrung with nylon ball-end strings. Acoustic guitars were primarily recorded with a TASCAM DR-05 portable audio recorder.

Lighthouse was recorded with a used 1999 Yamaha PSR-270 Educational Suite through stock logic keyboards and Keyscape plugins by Spectrasonics,
Lighthouse was recorded into a TASCAM 2x2 and a TASCAM 16x08 onto a 2018 MacBook Pro running Logic Pro, mixed and mastered with stock Logic plugins.

Lighthouse was recorded on a $0 budget with years birthday presents, accumulated gear, spare parts, and elbow grease.
